About the Journal
Founded in 1975 by Ezequiel de Olaso, the Revista Latinoamericana de Filosofía is an open access and blind peer-review publication that receives contributions in any area of philosophy. Open to all philosophical currents, ideas and trends, the journal aspires to the collaboration of all scholars who wish to present the results of their research to their colleagues and the public.
In its more than forty years of life, the RLF has proposed to offer a space for the publication and dissemination of work in philosophy that is carried out not only in Argentina, but also in Latin America and the rest of the world, thus addressing members of the national and international philosophical community. Its main objective is to promote dialogue and exchange of productions in the field of philosophical research, whether they refer to current affairs or to the history of the discipline. The RLF welcomes works of all orientations if they are original, represent advances in the knowledge of the topics addressed and enrich the philosophical debate.
The RLF publishes articles, notes, critical studies, and discussions. It also includes a permanent section of reviews and, occasionally, thematic dossiers are designed that do not interrupt the periodicity of the publication.
The RLF is published twice a year, in May and November. It is indexed in Scopus, ERIH PLUS, Dialnet, Philosopher's Index, CIRC, Malena, MIAR, ROAD, Keepers Registry, Latindex 1.0 and SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) catalogs and is part of the Basic Core of Scientific Journals CAICYT-CONICET.
Since 2019, the RLF is only published online.

EDITORIAL POLICY
No charges or fees of any kind are applied for the evaluation or publication of manuscripts received.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to determine the pertinence or the interest of the manuscripts submitted for their publication in the journal.
The manuscripts taken into consideration for their publication will undergo an external evaluation process under the double-blind peer review system.
OPEN ACCESS POLICY
The Latin American Journal of Philosophy offers open and immediate access, operating under the principle that free access to scientific research results fosters global knowledge interchange.
The journal is freely available on the internet; thus, the user is enabled to read, download, copy, print, distribute or give any other legal use to it, without financial, technical or any type of barrier.
PRESERVATION POLICY
The Latin American Journal of Philosophy uses the OJS, created by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), as a platform for receiving and publishing manuscripts, which offers preservation service for content published on the site through the PKP Preservation Network. In addition, the journal produces backup copies on external hard drives of the information published on the site and the database.
