This article examines Leibniz’s interactions with women through his correspondence, with particular emphasis on the letters exchanged with several princesses, highlights the historical context of these relationships. Although Leibniz’s extensive philosophical work has been widely studied, less attention has been given to the nature of his correspondence and interactions with prominent female figures. Our analysis does not aim to provide a detailed philosophical examination of Leibniz’s ideas per se, but rather to offer a historical assessment of the premises and the impact that his relationships with the princesses may have had on both the lives of these women and the philosopher's work.
